About ANATOART

Queen Mary University of London, Malta Campus is pleased to be holding the first edition of ANOTOART a collection of anatomical sketches and installations by first and second year medical students following an “Anatomy through Art and Mindfulness” Student Selective Component as part of their early medical studies at Queen Mary in Gozo.

The non-clinical, two-week programme is designed to strengthen students’ knowledge of Human Anatomy and to explore their own connections with the body through art and artistic expression. It also teaches students about how to apply mindfulness in every day life.

Our students will go on to graduate Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery following the successful completion of their 5-year programme.

The exhibition will be held at the heart of Gozo’s Historic Citadel, at the Cittadella Cultural Centre in Victoria between 8 and 31 October, 2024.

The Exhibition is curated by well-known artist and tutor, Abi MacLeod.
